Dundee’s Mental Health Football
Playing football helps clear your mind, release stress, and lift your mood. It’s a simple way to look after your mental wellbeing while doing something you enjoy.
We are more than just a team. You will make real connections with people who understand and support you, on and off the pitch.
Every pass, every goal, every session helps you grow. Whether you are returning to the game or trying it for the first time, you will gain self belief and a sense of achievement.
Here, everyone belongs. No pressure and no judgment, just football, friendship, and support. Together, we look after our mental health and each other.
“I started Carry On Kicking because I wanted to give men a safe space where they were free from judgement and the stress of everyday life, to hang out with like-minded people and provide a healthy outlet to those who might be struggling.”

We play every Thursday at Charlotte Street Pitches from 6pm. Everyone is welcome to come along, whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular.
Not at all. Our sessions are open to everyone, no matter your ability or experience. Whether you have played for years or never kicked a ball before, you will be made to feel welcome.
Our sessions are open to anyone who values mental wellbeing. You do not need a diagnosis to join. It’s about taking care of yourself, connecting with others, and enjoying football in a supportive space.
We aim to keep costs as low as possible. Some sessions are free, while others may have a small fee to cover pitch hire. You can message us directly for up-to-date details.
That is completely fine. There is no pressure to talk or perform. You can join in, take a break, or simply come along and watch. We understand that mental health can change from week to week.
Absolutely. Bringing a friend is a great way to feel more comfortable, and we welcome new faces at every session.
